Loid Kenneth Mouse Boles, 53

Loid Kenneth “Mouse” Boles, 53, a McMinnville resident and Davidson County native, died April 23 at his residence following a sudden illness.
He was an employee with Burroughs-Ross-Colville Co., a veteran of the U.S. Navy and son of the late Loid Estell B. and Beulah Mae McGuire Boles. Mr. Boles was married to Vickie Mae Hudson Boles, who preceded him in death on Oct. 8, 2014. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by son, Matthew Boles and two brothers, William and David Boles.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Shelby Boles of McMinnville; three step-children, Ashley Yanicki, Jimmy Neal and Elizabeth Neal, all of Smithville; four grandchildren; and five sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Tony Myers of McMinnville, Joyce and Michael Ward of Morrison, Rhonda Reed of Crossville, Teresia McGuire of Hillsboro, and Linda Evans of McMinnville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at High’s Chapel with Nathan Jones to officiate. Interment will follow at Shellsford Cemetery with military grave rites to be conducted by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Wednesday until time of service at High’s. Donations may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
