Lloyd Denton Locke, 77, a Rock Island resident and Warren County native, died June 1 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital following a sudden illness.He was a retired employee of Powermatic, a U.S. Air Force veteran, member of the Church of Christ at Rock Island and son of the late Virgil Denton and Hattie Wretha Cantrell Locke. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Viva Moore; brothers, Wayne and Bob Locke; sister-in-law, Judy Locke; nephew, Kenneth Shirley and great-nephew, Nick Locke. Mr. Locke was married March 1, 1963 to Norma Gail Moore Locke, who survives.
