Lisa Sue Boyd, 58, a Rock Island resident and Warren County native, died April 8 at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital following a sudden illness.She was a retired employee of Century Electric, member of the Church of Christ, and daughter of Dorothy Dykes Mayfield of Campaign and the late Leonard C. Mayfield. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by husband, Doyle Phillip Boyd on Nov. 19, 2011; son Michael Boyd; sister, Barbara Wagoner; and father-in-law, John Thomas Boyd.In addition to her mother, she is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Kerry Boyd of Miamisburg, Ohio; companion Tommie Turner of Campaign; six grandchildren, Caleb, Ada, Katelyn, Alivia, Adam and Brooklyn Boyd; nephews Steve Mayfield and wife Denise of Campaign and Roger Wagoner and wife Heather of McMinnville; great-niece, Brittany Mayfield; mother-in-law, Winona Boyd of Rock Island; and daughter-in-law, Kellie Lemmons of Manchester.Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at High’s Chapel with Rick Lyles to officiate. Interment will follow at Crain Hill Cemetery.
