Morrison resident and Fairbault County Blue Earth, Minn., native Linda Marlene Parsons McAfee, 65, died May 7 at River Park Hospital after a one-year illness.The co-owner of McAfee Photography and a member of the Lutheran Church, she was the daughter of the late Glenroy Ewing and Verna Pauline Kretchmer Parsons, and was also preceded in death by three siblings.She is survived by her husband, Rod McAfee; daughters and son-in-law, Rena Kathleen and Bobby K. Tate of McMinnville, and Cheryl Lynn Gunter of Morrison; grandchildren, Christopher Nicholas Myers, Gage Alexander Myers, Bobby K. Tate II, and Rachael Colleen Gunter; stepsons, Chris McAfee and Jeff McAfee of Kentucky, Clint McAfee and Keith McAfee of Nashville, and Thomas McAfee of Boston; four step-grandchildren; sister, Lois Montgomery of Aurora, Ill.; brothers, Marvin and Loren Parsons of McMinnville; several nieces and nephews.Services were held Thursday at High’s Chapel.High Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.)
