McMinnville resident and Coffee County native Linda Jean Gilley, 75, was born Dec. 15, 1941 and died May 13 at her residence following a one-year illness.A homemaker and member of Spirit of Life and Hope Church, she was the daughter of the late Curtis and Ruby Burdett Moore. She was married to Ray Donald Gilley, who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Jessica and Joshua Baker; two brothers, Charles and Gilbert Moore, and sister Dean Lane.Mrs. Gilley is survived by three children, Michael (Debbie) St. John of Decherd, Jenene (Paul) Baker of Rock Island, and Debbie Fults (Robert Young) of McMinnville; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Sarah (Bill) Brown and Joyce (Jerry) Prater, both of Beech Grove and Pam (Billy) Hill of Hillsboro; brother Ronnie (Marissa) Moore of Beech Grove and several nieces and nephews.Funeral service was held Tuesday, May 16, at High’s Chapel with Anthony Campbell officiating.
