Linda Gail Bain, 58, of Morrison died Sunday, Jan. 31 at her home.She was born Saturday, Aug. 24, 1957 in McMinnville, the daughter of the late Paul Newby and Elveta Hale Newby. She is survived by daughter Heather Bain of McMinnville; son Shannon Newby and wife Bethani of Alabama; ex-husband and friend Larry W. Bain Sr. of Smithville; sister Tammy Hobbs and husband Billy of McMinnville; two brothers, Steve Newby and wife Judy of McMinnville, Roger Dale Newby and wife Debra of McMinnville; stepson Larry Bain Jr. of Smithville; stepdaughter Shellie Bain of Smithville; three grandsons, Russell Alan King of McMinnville, Cody Lynn Newby of Alabama, Asher Ridge Mathis of McMinnville; granddaughter, Kealey Newby of Alabama; great-granddaughter, Hazel King of McMinnville; great-grandson, Ryderr King McMinnville; uncle, Gene Hale of McMinnville; best friends, Doris Young and husband James Young and Lola Griffith of McMinnville; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive. Funeral was held Thursday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with the Ricky Robertson officiating.
