McMinnville resident and DeKalb County native Lillie Carolyn Pepper, 65, was born May 5, 1950 and died Nov. 23 at Raintree Manor following an extended illness. A business owner of a consignment store and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Wilma McBride Hibdon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother Billy Hibdon.She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Bradley Lynn and Teresa Pepper of Morrison; three daughters and sons-in-law, Leslie and Chad Carter of Rock Island, Lisa and Jason Norris of McMinnville, and Lori Pepper of Cookeville; seven grandchildren, Kelsey Pepper, Wesley Pepper, Peyton Norris, Brady Norris, Katelyn Carter, Gracelyn Carter and Karsyn Mathis; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Ken and Marge Hibdon of Indiana, Doris and Linda Hibdon of McMinnville, and Ron and Jan Hibdon of Murfreesboro; three sisters and brother-in-law, Jonell Martin of Smithville, Shirley White of Kentucky, and Phyllis Hibdon and Michael Egar of Texas; several nieces and nephews; companion, Drennon Bryan of McMinnville; and sister-in-law, Thelma Hibdon of Woodbury.A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday at High’s Chapel with Charles Williams officiating.
