Mrs. Lillian Virginia King, 89, of McMinnville died Saturday, Feb. 3, at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital. She was born in Huntsville, Ala., on June 28, 1928, was a homemaker, and was preceded in death by parents Urby and Lemmar Blanch Perry Hines, son Jesse M. King, grandson Jacob King, sister Rosie Rogers, brothers Frank and James Hines, son-in-law Frank Farr, and daughter-in-law Carolyn King. Survivors include her husband Jesse H. King, daughter Brenda Joyce Farr, sons David R. (Iona) King and Danny King, all of McMinnville, grandchildren Angie Odom of Rock Island, Daniel King and Heather King Watkins, both of Sparta, great-grandchildren Ashley Hickerson of Spencer, Winter Odom of McMinnville, Montana Odom of Rock Island, and Elizabeth and Abigail Watkins of Sparta, and great-great grandchildren Ashton and Brantley Hickerson and River Turner.
