Lewis Wayne Davis, 58, of McMinnville died April 1 at his home. A native of Cannon County, he was a member of the Baptist Church and retired from Carrier Corporation.He was preceded in death by his parents, Lyman and Hester Barrett Davis.Survivors include two children, Rhonda Lee Drake of McMinnville and Lymon Douglas Davis of McMinnville; stepdaughter, Janice Hennessee of Van Buren County; five siblings: Patsy Cook of McMinnville, Bobby (Kathy) Davis of Woodbury, Landon (Katherine) Davis of Murfreesboro, Doran (Donna) Davis of Virginia, Linda (William) Cook of Westland, Mich., and Judy (Lawrence) York of Trousdale; grandchildren, Dylan and Dawson Drake, Jeremiah, Ethan and Isabell Davis, Kalana and Galen Johnson.Funeral service was held Tuesday in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home.
