McMinnville resident and Coffee County native Leslie Eugene “Gene” Pegg, 88, was born Nov. 21, 1929 and died July 22 at Raintree Manor following an extended illness. A retired employee of General Motors and member of East End Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Arvel Lee and Florence Belle Stone Pegg. He was married Dec. 23, 1977 to Audrey Mae Parker Pegg, who preceded him in death May 15, 2018.
