Mr. Leonard Franklin Keel, 75, of McMinnville died Wednesday, April 10, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 20, 1944, in Painesville, Ohio, was retired as a master sergeant with U.S. Air Force, was a farmer, a member of the local Farmers Market, and was of the Christian faith.
Mr. Keel was preceded in death by his parents Jesse Claude and Hattie Elizabeth Pepper Keel, wife Patricia Gayle Chaney Keel, an infant daughter, sisters Jessie Hurt and Ruth Keel, brothers Butler Keel and Elmer Keel, paternal grandparents Isaac Clinton and Isabell Russell Keel, and maternal grandparents Aaron and Lillie Bell Roach Pepper.
Survivors include his children Trina (Scotty) White and Patrick Keel, brother Clinton (Jean) Keel, and grandchildren Jonathan White and Lydia White. Several nieces, nephews, and family friends also survive.
Funeral service is 12 p.m. Friday, April 12, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Michael Harris will officiate. Interment will follow at Armstrong Cemetery. Military Grave Rites will be administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. Visitation will be Friday from 10 a.m. to the time of service at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
