Leona Christine Cox, 70, of McMinnville died Wednesday, Oct. 31 at her residence.
She was born June 5, 1942, in Warren County, was a homemaker, and a member of Apostolic Arc Church. Ms. Cox was preceded in death by her parents Sidney Jacob and Zada Bell Coppinger Wanamaker and her brothers Jakie, Carl, and Jimmy Wanamaker.
Survivors include her son Donald Ross “Don” Cox Jr., daughter Tina Cox Jaco, grandchildren Christy Jane Cox, Tabitha Suzanne Campbell, Donald Ross “Trea” Cox, III, and Rance Tyler Jaco, and two sisters Zada Joyce Jones and Jacine Denton. Several nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. today at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Matt Walls will officiate. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.
