McMinnville resident and Warren County native Lena Margaret King, 86, was born Jan. 9, 1925 and died Oct. 22 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness.A homemaker and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Charles C. and Maude Newby Harding.She was married to William Samuel King, who preceded her in death May 22, 1975. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jerry William King.She is survived by nine children and their spouses, Fay Sherman, Dorothy and Steven Atherton, John Wesley and Becky Harding, and Samuel Lewis and Brenda Harding, all of Taylor, Mich., Cindy Jane Morgan, and Mary and Carl Douglass, all of Dearborn, Mich., Sheila and Darrell Parker of Three Rivers, Mich., Wanda and Keith Adams of Romulus, Mich., and Charles Carpenter Harding of McMinnville; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Darrell and Joni Harding of Dearborn, Mich.; sister Jean Childress of McMinnville, and several nieces and nephews.A graveside service and interment will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Providence Cemetery with Jim Zlaten officiating.
