McMinnville resident and Fitzgerald, Ga., native Lawrence C. “Larry” Hasty, 90, was born May 2, 1920 and died April 29 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.A retired electrician with Anchor Hocking Glass Company and member of East End Church of Christ, he was the son of the late John and Willie Mae Selby Hasty. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Edna Thaxton Hasty. He is survived by one stepdaughter Martha Madewell and husband Tony of Murfreesboro; stepson, Thomas C. Thaxton and wife Marion of Viola; son, Larry R. Hasty of Jacksonville, Fla.; step-granddaughter, Greta Hoover and her husband Jefff of McMinnville and step-great-grandchildren, Rhainnon and Jordan Hoover; and sister-in-law, Alice Hasty of Jacksonville, Fla.A graveside service and interment will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Mt.
