Larry Grant Vinson Sr., 76, of McMinnville died Saturday, Feb. 28, at Raintree Manor in McMinnville. He was born Aug. 5, 1938 in Warren County and was retired from the automotive industry. Mr. Vinson was preceded in death by parents, Carlos and Myrtis Hagewood Vinson; wife, Joyce Barrett Vinson, and sisters, Cynthia Vinson and Norma Ann Vinson.Survivors include his children Randy David (Ann) Vinson of Liberty, Ricky Daniel Vinson of Murfreesboro and Larry G. Vinson Jr., of Short Mountain; sisters, Sandra Vinson of Murfreesboro and Marjorie Williams of McMinnville; brother, Mike Vinson of McMinnville; grandchildren, Ryan (Amanda) Vinson of Gainesboro, and Heather Michelle Vinson of Yorktown, Va.; great-grandchildren, Riley Vinson and Alice Butner, and niece Samantha Williams.Graveside service was held Tuesday at Blues Hill Cemetery with Charles Williams officiating.
