Kizzie Alice Golden Cantrell, 92, a Morrison resident and Warren County native, was born Aug. 26, 1925 and died June 3 at her residence following an extended illness.

She was a homemaker, member of Rockcliff Church of Christ and daughter of the late Alaska Elkana and Estella Pryor Golden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Bernice Carl “B.C.” Cantrell Jr.; and son Jim Cantrell.

Mrs. Cantrell is survived by son and daughter-in-law, B.C. “Bo” and Barbara Sue Cantrell III of the Mt. Zion community; daughter Kizzie Parson of the Mt. Zion community; five grandchildren Zack Cantrell, Hannah Rae Shay, Travis Parson, Gail Newton and Scotty Dilldine; seven great-grandchildren; sister Nelta Jo Cantrell of McMinnville; special family member, Dickie J. Hillis of McMinnville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 7, at High’s Chapel with Jeff Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and 9 a.m. Thursday until the time of service at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
