Kenneth Wayne Harris, 62, of Rock Island died Tuesday, Aug. 23, at River Park Hospital.He was born April 27, 1949, in Warren County and was a nursery sales representative for Cherokee Manufacturing and attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence L. and Reba Jo Vaughn Harris, and brother William Edward Harris.Survivors include his wife Dorothy Harris of Rock Island; stepsons, Richard Swim of McMinnville, Russell Swim of Rock Island, and Ronald Swim of LaVergne; step-granddaughter Tiffany Swim; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Brenda Harris, Roy and Pat Harris, and James and Wanda Harris, all of McMinnville; special cousin Mike Vaughn, and special great-niece Kaylee Jade Hillis.A public memorial service was held Thursday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel with family and friends officiating.
