Katherine Dickson, 88, of McMinnville died Tuesday, May 8, at her granddaughter’s residence.She was born June 15, 1923, in Warren County, was a homemaker, and a member of Gassaway Church of Christ. Mrs. Dickson was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Jay and Eliza Jane McCormack Davis, husband Dillard Thomas Dickson, daughter Glenda Joyce Womack, son and daughter-in-law Thomas Edward and Nedra Dickson, sisters Tennie Hillis and Beatrice Rutledge, and brothers Robert Davis, Carl Davis, John Henry Davis, and William Clayton Davis.Survivors include her sister, Thelma Hesler of McMinnville; grandchildren, Cindy (Jim) Jenkins of Ashland City, Debbie (Wally) Cox of Nashville, Karen (Ken) Cunningham of Knoxville, Jeanne Dickson of McMinnville, Patricia (Chuck) Shelton of Mt. Juliet, Alice (Ronnie) Parker of Watertown, and Sheila (Mike) Gann of Alexandria, great-grandchildren, Anthony Brewster Jr., Jennifer Flack, Dewayne Cox, Melissa Reagan, Kenny Cunningham, Hunter Shelton, Justin Parker, and Billy Parker, and great-great grandchildren Ariel and Jacob.Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.
