Joyce Sue Ferguson, 69, of Rock Island died Thursday, Oct. 13 at NHC HealthCare, McMinnville. She was born Friday, Nov. 1, 1946 in Salem, Ind., the daughter of Mary Vayles Markland and the late Martin Claire Markland. Joyce is survived by her mother Mary Markland of Spring Hill, Fla.; two sons Chris Anderson and wife Bettina of Spring Hill, Mark Anderson and wife, Sherry of Rock Island; three granddaughters Brianna Marie Finger of McMinnville, Sarah Jade Anderson of Rock Island, and Victoria Anastasia Anderson of Rock Island; two sisters Sharon Grose of Spring Hill and Anita Smithson of Spring Hill; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
