Joyce Fay Pedigo, 84, of McMinnville died Friday, Nov. 23 at River Park Hospital.She was born July 21, 1928 in Smithville and was a retired school teacher with the Jerseyville, Ill., school system, a member of the retired teachers association, and a member of Jesus Name Pentecostal Church. Miss Pedigo was preceded in death by parents, Silas Roy and Alma Hattie Ponder Pedigo, and an infant brother.Survivors include sister Irene (Lyle) Cox of McMinnville; and brothers Royce (Marian) Pedigo of Edwardsville, Ill., Gene (Ruth) Pedigo of Curran, Ill., and Danny (Wanda) Pedigo of Catham, Ill., and several nieces, nephews, and family members.Funeral service is at 1 p.m. today at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel with Robert Burns and Eddie Teston officiating. Interment will follow at Burton Ponder Cemetery in Smithville.
