McMinnville resident and York, Pa., native Josie Lou King, 62, was born Oct. 9, 1957 and died Oct. 14 at her residence following a sudden illness.
A former employee of Federal Mogul, she was the daughter of Malcom Raymond Moore of McMinnville and the late Pat Moore. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by grandson, Carter Trabue King; sister, Kathy Ranker; and step-brother, Chad Sullivan.
In addition to her father, she is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Leslie King of McMinnville; two granddaughters, Olivia and Aubrey King; grandson, Austin Cantrell; stepmother, Deloris Moore of McMinnville; sister Peggy Prifogle of McMinnville; three brothers, Jason, Allen and Steven Moore, all of McMinnville; stepsister, Teri Elmore of Memphis, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 17, from 5 to 8 p.m. in High’s Parlor. Ms. King will be cremated. There will be no service or burial. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
