McMinnville resident and Warren County native Johnny Lynn Coppinger, 50, was born Oct. 1, 1962 and died unexpectedly March 30 at his residence.A member of Arlington Church of Christ, he was the son of Billie Frances Coppinger of McMinnville and the late Francis “J.C.” Coppinger. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frank and Stella Coppinger, and maternal grandparents, Bill and Bessie Drake.In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Barry Coppinger and Jimmy Carlos Coppinger, both of McMinnville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Ora Cook of the Centertown community, and Regina and Steve Russell of Van Buren County; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.Funeral service was held Tuesday at High’s Chapel with Wayne Cantrell officiating.
