Johnny Houston Carter, 64, a Tullahoma resident and Warren County native, was born Aug. 1, 1953 and died Aug. 27 in Harton Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. He was a veteran of the United States Army, retired employee of B.F. Goodrich, member of the Church of Christ, and son of Sarah Baker of Tullahoma and the late John B. Carter.In addition to his mother, he is survived by daughter, Heather Dawn Goad of Tullahoma; two grandchildren, Ashlyn Goad and Skylar Adams, both of Tullahoma; stepfather, Wallace Baker of Tullahoma; sister and brother-in-law Desiree and Kenneth Bell of Tullahoma; brother Michael Baker of Murfreesboro; three nephews, Brandon Baker of Murfreesboro, Alex Bell of Gleason and C.J. Bell of Ft. Campbell, Ky.; great-nephew, Haden Bell; and several cousins.Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30 at High’s Chapel with Kevin Key to officiate.
