McMinnville resident and Warren County native Johnnie Sue Paris, 75, was born May 13, 1938 and died unexpectedly Feb. 5 at River Park Hospital.
A retired employee of DeZurik, a homemaker and farmer, and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Marcus Paul and Margie Lee Clendenon Woodlee. She was married July 4, 1961 to Clyde Eugene Paris, who preceded her in death Jan. 26, 2013. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Carmen Cagle; and two brothers, Buford and Perry Woodlee.
She is survived by three sisters and brothers-in-law, Nelma and W.C. Chilton, Sarah Frances Woodlee, and Nona and Ken Martin, all of McMinnville; halfsister, Mamie McGee of Altamont; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in High’s Chapel with James Nelson and Steve Hillis officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at High’s.
