John Harris Smith, 68, a McMinnville resident and Warren County native, died suddenly Dec. 25 at his brother’s residence in Franklin.
He was an employee of Sherwin-Williams Company, a U.S. Navy veteran of Vietnam, a member of the Methodist Church, and son of the late James Andrew and Katherine Ruth Brooks Smith.
He is survived by brother, Jim Brooks (Jan) Smith of Franklin; two nieces, Megan Smith of Oakland, Calif., and Lea Mary Bannister of Memphis.
Graveside service and interment were held Tuesday at Mt. View Cemetery with Bob Case and James Johnson officiating.
High Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
