Warren County resident and Queensboro, N.Y., native John Dean Bender, 64, was born on Sept. 10, 1947 and died Dec. 27 at Raintree Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness.A retired U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer, Vietnam veteran, and member of the Blue Angels Flight Team, he was the only child of the late Theresa Flynn Bender and Dean Dewitt Bender. He was married to Warren County resident Catherine Bender.
