Mr. John B. Emery, 90, of McMinnville died Saturday, March 8, at NHC Healthcare in McMinnville. He was born March 12, 1923, in Rutherford County, was a retired carpenter, and a member of Bonner Church of Christ. Mr. Emery was preceded in death by parents John Robert and Ollie Frances Todd Emery, son John Paul Emery, sisters Lucille Peden, Lizzie Mabe, Estie Mai Brandon, and Goldie Campbell, and brothers Henry Emery and Raymon Cecil Emery.Survivors include his wife Evelyn Underhill Emery, daughter Linda Fay McDowell, grandchildren Eugene (Sarah) Starkey, Kathy Fay McDowell, and James T. McDowell, and sister Mable Scia Scia.
