John Anthony “Jonno” Jordan Jr. was born June 29, 1971 in Murfreesboro and died Dec. 28 in Decatur, AL with family at his side. He is the son of John A. and Joan Williamson Jordan. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Margret “Maggie” Jordan and Sadie Jordan, both of Portland, Oregon, brother Michael (Anita) Jordan of Knoxville, sister Gretta Jordan-McDaniel of Decatur, and baby niece Tilly Joan who gave him so much joy and love the last months of his life, niece Heather Jordan, nephews Luke Jordan, Seth Jordan, David Kimbrough, and Win McDaniel.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Homer Jordan, Mr. and Mrs Jim Williamson, and nephew Gabriel Jordan. Jonno was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan. He loved gardening, canning, fishing with his daughters, shade tree mechanics, and handyman work. The first Eagle Scout of Boy Scout Troop 15 in Knoxville, Jonno was always ready to help anyone that needed it. He was a computer program designer at Fort Knox for over 20 years.

He was cremated and an informal celebration of life will be held Feb. 26, at 2 p.m. in the fellowship hall at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, Decatur, AL, 35603
