Joe Edward Hennessee, 84, of Morrison died Sunday, May 15, at his home.He was born Monday, May 9, 1932 in McMinnville, the son of the late Brownie Hennessee and Janie McGee Hennessee. He was a member of the Baptist Church and was a self-employed barber and a U.S Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Martha May Hennessee of Morrison, daughter Anna Lorene Higgins of McMinnville; two stepsons, Donnie Stotts and wife, Barbara of Viola, Jimmy Stotts and wife, Ruth of Summitville; three grandchildren, Seth Bernardo of McMinnville, Shana Martin of Aiea, Hawaii, Sharla Smith of McMinnville; three step-grandchildren Donielle Stotts of Viola, Johnathan Stotts of Tullahoma, Jennifer Stotts of Tullahoma; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his son, Joe Michael Hennessee, daughter Betty Jane “Sissie” Dominy, and brother Billy Hennessee.Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with William Eversole officiating.
