Former McMinnville resident, Joan Smith McGregor, 100, died Wednesday, April 16, in Knoxville following a brief illness. Mrs. McGregor was born Aug. 20, 1913, in Freeport, Ill. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, a member of First Presbyterian Church in McMinnville, and enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, and being with her family.She was the daughter of the late Leonard and Johanna Smith and was married to Jonah McGregor, who preceded her in death in 1985.
