Republic, Mo., resident and Warren County native Jimmy Russell Sanders, 74, was born Jan. 27, 1944 and died Nov. 17 at Bristol Manor in Republic, Mo.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and son of the late Alva Sanders and Wava Webb Sanders. In addition to his parents, Russell was preceded in death by four sisters, Audrey Carothers, Edla Davis, Doris Perkins and Faye Clendenon; and two brothers, Ralph Sanders and Larry “Bud” Sanders.

Russell is survived by two sisters, Sandra Griffith and Patricia Maloney; and several nieces and nephews.
