McMinnville resident and Warren County native Jimmy Charles Brady, 84, was born April 15, 1934 and died April 12 at his residence following a three-year illness.

A retired superintendent with McCann Steel Company in Nashville, a United States Army veteran and a member of the TN Army National Guard, he was the son of the late George and Grace Hillis Brady.

He was married July 16, 1957 to Elsie Wilson Brady of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children and spouses, Teddy and Tami Brady of Smyrna, Rocky and Aubrey Brady of Smyrna, Danny and Sharon Brady of Murfreesboro, Thelma Tabb of Kentucky, and Cindy and Carl Burdick of Woodbury, nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Junior and Tammy Brady of Macon, Ga., and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service and interment will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 14, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Murfreesboro with R.C. Ford officiating. There will be no visitation at High’s on Sunday.
