Jerry Lee Hard, 79, was born Feb. 21, 1936 and departed this life to be with his Lord at 2:14 a.m., Oct. 9 after heart bypass and heart valve replacement surgery at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.He was a former longtime resident of Warren and Coffee counties, and owner of BankPak, Inc.He is survived by Virginia, his loving wife of 54 ½ years; daughter Dawn Hard Proffitt and husband, Nathan, of Brentwood; son Scott Hard and wife, Dee, of Morrison; five grandchildren, Hunter Proffitt and wife, Angela, of Thompson Station; Chase Hard of Abilene, Texas; Halie Proffitt Truax and husband, Carter, of Kansas City, Mo.; Courtney Hard of Cookeville; and Hope Proffitt Reed and husband, John, of Nashville; one great-grandchild, Easton Truax: three brothers, Bill Hard and wife, Kathy, of Sherman, Texas.; Carl Hard and wife, Sally, of Del Rio, Texas, and Don Hard and wife, Pat, of Boynton Beach, Fla.; one brother-in-law, Dan Lightfoot and wife, Dolores, of Russellville, Ark., and 21 nieces and nephews.Memorial services will be at Westwood Church of Christ, 511 Morrison Street, McMinnville, on Sunday, Oct. 25 at 2:30 p.m.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.)
