Jeffery Thomas “Big E” Eaton, 61

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Jeffery Thomas “Big E” Eaton, 61, was born Sept. 5, 1960 and died Feb. 3 following an extended illness.


A self-employed transportation broker and lifelong member of the NRA, he was the son of the late James and Eloise Eaton. He was married to Lisa Eaton of McMinnville on April 16, 2005. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, James R. “Jim” Eaton.


In addition to his wife, Mr. Eaton is survived by stepson Dustin Morley of McMinnville, brothers and sistersin- law Joe and Cathy Eaton of Manchester, and Jack and Sue Eaton of Arkansas, sister and brother-in-law Jane Ann and Kenny Pryor of McMinnville, sister-in-law Deborah Eaton-Keeling of California, and several nieces and nephews. He was greatly loved by his nieces and nephews.


Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, at High’s Chapel with family and friends to officiate. Interment will follow in Viola Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 8 p.m., and Tuesday 9 to 10:30 a.m. at High Funeral Home. Eaton and Dunn Hunting Club will be serving as honorary pallbearers.
