Nashville resident and McMinnville native Jean Ogle Taylor, 77, died June 30 in Nashville.
A legal secretary with Gaylord Entertainment and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Franklin Pierce and Mary Elizabeth Wiser Ogle; and was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Franklin Taylor. She was a Christian and enjoyed her family, butterfly bushes and bus tours.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Paul Hardy of Hermitage; granddaughter, Kaitlin Hardy of Hermitage; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Faye Ogle of McMinnville; sister and brothers-in-law, Evelyn and Joe Cantrell of McMinnville.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at High’s Chapel with Dr. Paul Casner officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Phillips Robinson Funeral Home in Nashville on Gallatin Road from 2 to 4 p.m., and 6 to 8 p.m. today. Visitation will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at High’s.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
