McMinnville resident and Jacksonville, Fla., native James Ricky Kirby, 60, was born May 24, 1956 and died Oct. 10 at his residence following a lingering illness. A nurseryman, he was the son of the late Arvin Boyd and June Davis Kirby. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Patty Sue Mathney; and three brothers, Freddy Kirby, Donnie Kirby and Bearle Thomas Kirby.
