Mr. James Lewis Watts, 85 of McMinnville, died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022, at home at the Webb House Retirement Center. He was born in McMinnville, on Oct. 22, 1936, was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, a retired electrician with AEDC, loved fishing and camping and enjoyed playing cards. Mr. Watts was preceded in death by his parents, Vester Arnold and Addie May Wright Watts; wife of 64 years, Doris Helen Watts; and son Larry Wayne Watts.

Survivors include his grandchildren, Tiffany and husband Blake Sadlon and Toby and wife Brittney Watts; great-grandchildren Lake Sadlon, Faith Sadlon, Bella Watts, Isaac Watts, Sophia Watts and Crosley Watts; brothers Donald Mason (Cathy) Watts and Richard Watts; and sister Judy Wherley. Several nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive.

Graveside services and inurnment is scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, at Mt. View Cemetery. Bro. Kevin Key will officiate. Military grave rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 173 and VFW post 5064. The Watts Family will receive friends on Thursday, Oct. 6, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at McMinnville Funeral Home.
