James Lewis McCormick, 79, of McMinnville, died Friday, Jan. 19, at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville. He was born April 3, 1938, in Warren County, served his country with the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy, and was preceded in death by parents, Lester and Pauline Bouldin McCormick, wife, Violet Christine McCormick, and a brother, Donnie Ray McCormick. Survivors include sisters, Patsy Holt and Sharon (David) Holcomb, brothers Billy, Jerry, and Terry McCormick, and several nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
