James Levoy Bell died June 6 at his residence.
James Levoy Bell, 75, a Midway community resident and Coffee County native, died June 6 at his residence following an extended illness. A farmer, past president of the Midway Community Improvement Club and well-known for his leadership in the Midway community, he was the son of the late Fred and Virgie Adell Curtis Bell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Brown, Bobby, W.T. and J.C. Bell; sisters, Velma Lance, Frances Drake and Lina Ruth Davenport; and two infant daughters.Mr. Bell is survived by his wife of 55 years, Elva Dean Donelson Bell; two sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Beckee Bell and Dale and Robin Bell, all of Midway; six grandchildren, Tyler, Trevor, Travis, Rachel, Samantha and Kaleb Bell, all of Midway; two special friends, Ayla Anish and Hannah Mason; sister and brother-in-law, Wilma Dean and Charles Turner of McMinnville; brother-in-law, Harold Drake of McMinnville; sisters-in-law, Virginia Ann Bell of McMinnville and Martha Faye Bell of Midway; and brothers-in-law, Wayne Donelson, Eddie Donelson and Toby and Janie Donelson, all of McMinnville, and Randy and Lisa Donelson of Bone Cave.
