James Larry Snider, 56

James Larry Snider, 56, of Bloomfield, died Monday Dec. 29 at Flaget Memorial Hospital. 
He was born June 18, 1958 in Warren County and was a retired chief gunner’s mate for the United States Navy, a volunteer for Boy Scouts of America, and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Megan LaFern Snider; and brother, Billy Eugene Snider, who died last week.
He is survived by his wife, Robbyn LaFern Snider; three children, James Larry Snider II, Jessica Lorene Snider, and Clinton Lane Snider, all of Bloomfield; parents, Billy Ray Snider and Lorene Whitworth Snider of Bradford, Ind.; sister, Phyllis Elaine Cummings of Clarksville, Ind.; and two nieces, Leah and Anna.
Funeral service was Saturday at Barlow Funeral Home with burial to be held at Lebanon National Cemetery at a later date. Phillip Fulkerson officiated. 
Barlow Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
