Mr. James “Jim” L. Crutcher, 69, of McMinnville died Friday, Nov. 11, at a descendant’s residence in McMinnville after a lingering illness.He was born Monday, Sept. 15, 1947 in Franklin, the son of the late Johnny Crutcher and Onelda (Johnson) Crutcher. He was a veteran of Vietnam and was a nursery worker. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church in McMinnville.Surviving are daughter Traci L. Frazier and husband William of McMinnville, grandchildren Dylan and Shelby Woods of McMinnville, great-grandson Ashton Karter Woods of McMinnville, nieces Diane Bouldin and husband Billy, Chelsea Gann and husband Derrick, all of McMinnville, nephews Donnie Sparkman and wife Martha of McMinnville, John Crutcher of Iowa, sister-in-law Rebecca Duncan of McMinnville, brother-in-law Roy Sparkman of McMinnville, special cousins Tim and Lisa Crutcher of Dunlap, Ill., and several friends.He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Crutcher, his parents, brother Jerry Wayne Crutcher, sister-in-law Kathy Sparkman, and brother-in-law Freddie Duncan.Funeral service will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Gardens of Memory with Steve Brown officiating.
