James Howard Turner, 74

James Howard Turner, 74, of Rock Island died Tuesday, Jan. 31 at his residence.
He was born Aug. 12, 1937, in Warren County and was a retired machinist with Magnetek Century Electric, a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge No. 4190, a U.S. Air Force Veteran, and was preceded in death by parents Kermet Lassiter and Melvina Jones Turner, and his brothers Paul, Robert, and Larry Turner.
Survivors include his son James H. Turner, Jr., step-daughter, Cindy Koons; stepson, Richard Parker; step-grandchildren, Brad and Jennifer Parker, Chantell Koons, and April McGee; and a brother, Charlie Turner.
Per Mr. Turner’s request, he was cremated. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fraternal Order of Eagles or to your favorite charity.
