James Gregory Evans, 49, of McMinnville died unexpectedly Friday, Aug. 5, at River Park Hospital.He was born in McMinnville Aug. 6, 1961, the son of the late James P. and Linda Gail (Rogers) Evans. He was the husband of Jennifer (Lance) Evans of McMinnville. He worked as an excavator for RMC of Murfreesboro.He is survived by three daughters, Lacey R. Evans of McMinnville, Angel K. Lance of McMinnville, Shelby J. Smith of McMinnville; son, Ethan G. Evans of McMinnville; three brothers, Darrell W. Evans of McMinnville, Roger B. Evans of McMinnville, Cameron K. and wife Nichole Evans of McMinnville; special niece Peyton Bandy; and special child Cameron J. Bowdoin.Memorial services will be held at Centertown CIC on Saturday at 10 a.m. Immediately following the memorial service there will be a meal prepared by individuals bringing covered dish items.
