James Edward Latimer, 79 a native of Warren County and former resident of Mascatine, Iowa, passed from this life on Friday, Oct. 6 at his home. James was born Saturday, April 30, 1938 in McMinnville and was the son of the late Charlie Latimer and Allie Watson Latimer. James is survived by his three sisters, Kay Buckley and husband, Joe of New York, Jo Mabe and husband, Harold, and Betty S. Latimer; brother, Tim Latimer and wife, Linnie, special nieces, Allie and Judy Latimer; two nephews, Ben Buckley and wife Kristen and Lesley Logel; several cousins, other family members and friends also survive.A memorial service was held Thursday at the Westside Baptist Church McMinnville.
