James Carl Cunningham, 92, of McMinnville died Wednesday, May 6.He was born Friday, Nov. 10, 1922 in McMinnville, the son of the late Firm Cunningham and Lula Davenport Cunningham. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Scroggins of Columbia; two grandsons, Michael Ray Sizemore of Columbia and Christopher James Lynn Sizemore of Woodbury; three great-grandsons, Nathan, Matthew, and Michael Sizemore; brother, Billy H. Cunningham of McMinnville and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Elizabeth Cunningham, and brother, Firman Lytle Cunningham.Funeral service was held Saturday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Dave Dawson officiating.
