Jack Milligan, 90, of McMinnville passed from this life Saturday, July 11, at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro.

Jack was born Saturday, Jan. 25, 1930 in Woodbury, the son of the late Bill Milligan and the late Nannie Vandergriff Milligan. He was a member of West River Side Church of Christ, He served in the U.S. Air Force and worked as a plumber for many years.

Jack is survived by three daughters Lisa Saitta and husband Joe, Tammy Bost and husband Don, Diane Knowles and husband Jimmy, son Kim Milligan and wife Tina, grandchildren Erika Burdine and husband David, Mileah Martin and husband Chris, Dustin Lewis and wife Hannah, David Bost, Drew Milligan and wife Rebekah, and Alyssa Milligan, great-grandchildren Isabella Burdine, Parker Lewis, and Aubree Lewis, brother Jimmy Milligan and wife Shirley, sister Betty Billings, brother-in-law Boyd Gentry, friend Sepal Taylor, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Hill Milligan, a granddaughter Misti Nichole Lewis, two brothers Billy Eugene Milligan and Milton Brown and wife Alma, six sisters Sammye Tenpenny and husband Virgil, Marjorie Lorance and husband Morgan, Quixie Frances Carroll and husband Dixie, Rachel Hillstrom and husband Jack, Shirley Ann Tate and husband Kenneth, and Helon Gentry.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Drew Milligan officiating. Interment will follow at Smyrna Cemetery in McMinnville. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home.
