McMinnville resident Hoyte Mitchell Hobbs, 61, died Aug. 4 in Nashville.The son of the late Homer Hobbs and Hazel Higgins, he is survived by his wife, Patsy Kennedy Hobbs and Max; brother-in-law, Richard Kennedy and Demi Polsom; sister, Brenda Brown and husband, Bobby; brother, David Hobbs; nephews, Wesley Brown, Alax Polsom, Jamie Jordan, Johnan Hobbs and Carry Hobbs; nieces, Liberty Polsom, Candy Jones, Renee Garriet and Lynette Frazier; many other cousins and friends. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Hershal Short officiating.
