McMinnville resident and Coffee County native Howard Truman Lowry, 67, was born Oct. 29, 1944 and died March 24 at Kindred Hospital in Chattanooga following a sudden illness. An employee of Roadway Express, he was the son of Clemmie Lowry Patrick of McMinnville and the late Algernon Lowry. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Julian; two brothers, Franklin Lowry and Benjamin Lowry; half-sister, Virginia Mae Klassy and three half-brothers, Roger Lowry, Waymon Lowry and J.W. Lowry.
