Maryville, Wis., resident and White County native Hill McAlister “Mackie” Elliott, 76, died Oct. 29 at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wis., following a brief illness.Retired from Mead Containers, he was the son of the late Miller Joe and Dora Mae Davis Elliott. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Elliott in January 2006; sisters, Elivina Elliott, Pearl Caldwell, Christine Collazo, Willie Caldwell and Louise Hildreth; brother, Joe Elliott; and former wife, Donna Elliott.He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Mack Allen Elliott, Dwayne Elliott, Curtis and Melissa Elliott, Robin Elliott, Randy and Heather Elliott, all of Wisconsin; stepson, Curtis McCoy 18 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, James Elliott of McMinnville, Larry and Jackie Elliott of McMinnville, Dewey and Doris Elliott of Rock Island; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lexie Taylor of Rock Island, Ruby and Osburn Huntley of McMinnville, Lola and Bobby Hash of Weatherford, Texas and Ellen and Jimmy Grissom of Largo, Fla.Funeral service was held Wednesday at Mount Olivet Chapel in Milwaukee with burial following at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
