Hilda Clendenon Meek, 88, of Smartt Station died Sunday, Dec. 3, at her home.Hilda was born Thursday, March 28, 1929 in Smartt. She was the daughter of the late Horace Clendenon and Levesta Lankford Clendenon. She was a member of Smartt Church of Christ.Hilda is survived by her son Louis C. Meek.In addition to her parents, Hilda was preceded in death by her husband, Miles Woodson Meek, sister, Edwina Clendenon Sparkman and Bouldin Clendenon.A graveside service was held Tuesday, Dec. 5, at 1 p.m. at Center Hill Cemetery in Hills Creek with Rickey Burks officiating.
